Cookware Sets

Modern cookware sets are eye-catching. They are bright and shiny. Most of them are made from stainless steel, but other materials like aluminum, copper, and cast-iron are popular as well. When buying cookware sets consider the following:

  • Indoor or outdoor? Outdoor products are divided into two categories. First category contains light and compact cookware sets which can be easily taken to a trip. They often made from aluminum. Second category sets are for cooking on open fire. They are often made from cast-iron, because this material conducts heat better.
  • Professional or classic? Some brands divide their products in categories like professional, commercial, classic and many more. The set of features may vary dramatically. It can be just different style or it can be different material. Professional cookware is often more expensive than classic.
  • Cookware material. There are few points to consider there. While you are preparing your food, little tiny pieces of kitchen utensil you are using are dissolving into the food so you eat your utensil. It's okay to eat copper, but aluminum is not good for your body. Read more about cookware materials.
  • Electric cookware. Some people prefer electric cookware just to save the space on the stove if it doesn't have enough burners. But more often, the reason for buying electric cookware is that it can be programmed to prepare some specific food. Examples are bread making machines, rice boilers or even kettles. They control their temperature according to the program and turn themselves off at the end of the process. From that point of view electric cookware is safer.
