What is very special about Emeril cast iron cookware is that a revolutionary seasoning technique is used on the cookware to pre-season it. An electrostatic spray system evenly coats the entire surface of the cast iron pan with a proprietary vegetable oil. Once coated, the cookware is baked in very hot industrial ovens.
